Frequently Asked Questions

Why are there no bins within the park?

The park is not a local government facility and hence bins would not be cleared as a regular service. The park is managed and maintained by the Association's volunteers who keep the park as clean as possible.

For the benefit of everyone, visitors to the park are encouraged to take their rubbish and dog poo with them.

Why are there no toilets?

The Association does not have the volunteer or financial resources to adequately maintain permanent toilets. It does however provide them for the Tranquility Fair. Public toilets can be found within walking distance, 400 meters from the park, to the nearby town centre car park in "The Parade" street.
